Noelene Choudhury
Bachelor of Educated Science Biology/Human Biology WACAE 1980, Dip. Health Science (Massage) 1998, Advanced Dip. Naturopathy 2003
Noelene is an experienced remedial massage therapist, who individualises her clients massages. Rather than doing any one technique she usually applies several within the course of treatment. There are times that one method may be used to the exclusion of others however this is determined during the course of the massage depending on the clients needs.
She is trained in many areas of body work including Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage Techniques, Acupressure and Shiatsu, Reflexology, Dorn spinal therapy, Hatchards way method of muscle therapy, Bowen techniques and Goltec, a method with some similarity to Bowen. Stretching and exercises are often suggested to help maintain a good result after massage therapy.
Good nutrition and adequate hydration is essential to achieving a good result with any of the body therapies and extra water after a massage is beneficial to reduce potential muscle discomfort following treatment.
